Roughly half of the first round of the Winter 2023 playoffs were contested last week (April 2nd). We had Easter Sunday off and we will complete the rest of the first round this coming Sunday. The semifinals will be on April 23rd, with the championship games coming on April 30th. The next season, Summer 2023, will begin on May 7th and run into August. BREAKING AWAY DIVISION
The Basketball Junkies beat Splash Pad last week. On April 23rd, they will face the winner of this coming Sunday's game between The Hawgs and JAK. On the other side of the bracket, Da Wolves play Freqz and The Vets play Mustangs #1.
CHARIOTS OF FIRE DIVISION
Last week's winners, Icy Hots and The Pack will meet in one semifinal on the 23rd. This week's first-round matchups feature Team UGLY against Wolves and Tucson Cyclones vs. Heat Check.
RAGING BULL DIVISION
Looney Goons will take on the winner of Brick Layers and Mustangs #2, while the winner of Slime Time and Sikhos will face the winner of Average Joes and [Enter Team Name Here].
ROCKY DIVISION
That One Team will face Bench Bros, who have a bye into the semis. On the other side of the bracket, the winner of Swoosh and Talkin' 'Bout Practice will battle the winner of Flashback and Zona.
FIELD OF DREAMS DIVISION
Monstarz will face SlimeBallz in one semifinal. In the other, the winner of Skoden-Dream Team will face the winner of KP Ballerz-Toon Squad.
MILLION DOLLAR BABY DIVISION
Free the Kids will face Wu-Crew in a semifinal match on April 23rd. On the other side, the winner of YSL-Fade Em Up will take on the winner of Trojans-Los Barberos.
THE HUSTLER DIVISION
In the semifinals on April 23rd, Smokin' 3s will take on the winner of Dawgs-Flagrant 2, while Fab 5 (which has a bye into the semis) will play the winner of Soul Snatchers-Gila Monsters.
THE BLIND SIDE DIVISION
The Show will take on the winner of Vipers-J&A Ballers in one semifinal, while other pits Outlawz (who have a bye into the semis) against the winner of The Heat-520 Bricklayers.
FORD V. FERRARI DIVISION
Hemoglobin Trotters (who have a bye into the semis) will face Bombs Squad on the 23rd. On the other side, Rocket Dawgs will take on the winner of Prestige Worldwide and The Fam.
THE FIGHTER DIVISION
Above Average will face the winner of Red Pill-Ham, while Way Past Our Prime will take on the winner of Paper Route Hoopers and Dad Bods.
THE CHAMP DIVISION
Rainbow Drillers will face The Punishers in one semifinal on the 23rd, while the other will pit the winner of Frosty Hesson-Scout Team against Runnin' Rebels 2.0
MONEYBALL DIVISION
Los Leones will take on the surprising Side Loaders in one semifinal on the 23rd. In the other, the winner of Hickory-SOS will face the winner of Below The Rim-Mi Familia.
