We'll be posting the Standings this week. They're fun, but basically useless because every team make the playoffs. There was a time when we considered limiting the number of teams in the playoffs (based on regular-season records) as a way to keep costs down. But it just didn't seem right, so we never did it. Likewise, we rejected the idea of double-elimination playoffs, which would have sent costs through the roof. The playoffs will begin in March and conclude in April. There will be no games on April 5th, which is Easter Sunday (also known as the day that I can eat Popeye's Chicken again after the Lenten Fast...if they're open that day).

The venue is hosting an event this Sunday, so our court-hours are limited. In order to get as many teams in as possible, those teams that have already played five games will not play on Sunday. A few teams have asked for byes and I will use a particular criterion to make the final cuts. I'm sorry, but this time of year the club volleyball takes a big chunk out of our day.
